North Coast Zoos & Aquariums Overview

Safari West is located off Highway 101 and east on Porter Creek Road, north of Santa Rosa. This wildlife preserve features 400 acres of African animals roaming in their natural habitat. Many of the animals within the preserve include giraffe, gazelle, ostrich, antelope, zebra, cheetah and many species of birds. Reserve an safari adventure and trek through the park in an open-air safari vehicle. Tent cabins are available for overnight stay and a restaurant offers meals on the savannah.
