the S.E.A. Lab is located off Harbor Boulevard just south of 190th Street. This is a unique learning aquarium funded by Southern California Edison. The large electrical plant across the street uses large intake tubes to suck water from the ocean to help cool turbines. Many of the unigue fish and other creatures that mistakenly make the trip through the tubes are placed in the aquarium exhibits. Aquarium includes touch tanks of tide pool sea creatures as well as large halibut, sea bass, leopard sharks and other large fish species.
