San Francisco Bay Area
|

San Francisco Overview
The San Francisco Bay Area is a refreshing mix of culture and environment. Big city connects to open grasslands and forest. Chinatown, the Mission District and the Haight all offer glimpses into other cultures. This was the heart of the hippy movement in the '60's as well as the gold rush of 1849. Known best for its sourdough bread, trolley cars and incredibly steep streets, San Francisco has plenty to offer visiting tourists.
