Del Mar Race Track is located off Interstate 5 in Del Mar. "Where the turf meets the surf!" because of its location to the ocean. The Del Mar Race Track is a great place to watch horse races. Whether you're a gambler or not, to witness the power of thoroughbred horses while absorbing ocean breezes and California sun makes for a wonderful day. Place a bet and maybe you'll win your vacation.

TIP: The Solana Beach train station is a moderate walking distance away. Traffic on the freeways can be backed up for miles on race days so the train is a great alternative.
