Medieval Times is located off Highway 91 in Buena Park, within walking distance of Knott's Berry Farm. This is a dinner theatre with arena seating. Events include medieval jousting, falconry, sword fights and more. Visitors eat with their hands and are encouraged to be loud and supportive of their knight. Visitors can enter the Torture Chamber for an extra fee where medieval torture devices are displayed along with depictions of how they were used. Not good for the appetite but very interesting nonetheless.

Pirate's Dinner Adventure is located off Highway 91 near Interstate 5. This indoor dinner theatre is new at the time of this writing. The original location in Orlando, Florida gets great reviews. Located one block north of Knott's Berry Farm, Pirate's Dinner Adventure features a pirate show with a full-size pirate ship and motley crew in a 250,000 gallon lagoon.

Orange County Piers are always a center for entertainment, shopping and great restaurants. Two of Orange Counties most happening piers are Huntington Pier and Newport Pier.
- Huntington Pier has a well-developed Main Street that leads up to the pier with a multitude of touristy shops and restaurants. Along the 'Strand' (beach bike path) are bike rental and concession stands. At the base of the pier is Duke's Restaurant or walk to the end of the pier for a great burger and shake at Ruby's Diner.

- Newport Pier is a little less developed than Huntington but there is still plenty of entertainment and shopping to be had. Newport also has a 'Strand' that comes close to seamlessly linking with Huntington to the north. Bike rentals are also available along the Newport Strand. The nearby Balboa Fun Zone has a small ferris wheel, arcade, shops and entertainment.
